Yup. While you don’t have to give your phone numbers to FB or Google, but you’re right, the way they do it is misleading. But this is corporate America! As long as it’s not the “big government” who’s watching, everything is fine . . . (Actually, I should take that back now. We don’t hear much complaint about NSA now, do we?)
